Description
Pecorino Pascoli di Maremma is a medium-ripening cheese. The paste is white and chalky, while the rind is treated with extra-virgin olive oil, tomato paste and ground black pepper, which give it its characteristic dark red colour. It is made exclusively with sheep's milk selected from farms in the Tuscan Maremma region.
Composition
Pasteurised sheep's milk, Volterra salt, rennet and milk enzymes. Surface treated with tomato paste, ground black pepper and preservatives: E235, E202.
